how is a 50 year old woman supposed to fight like that ? in "real" wing chun they teach how to end a fight fast and with very few and clean movements + internal punches.
this might look all pretty fancy and effective and it probably is, no doubt. but i think it doesn´t involve the very basic idea of wing chun.
I think the more important in this video is the way he hit with his elbow. It seems that this master train internal martial arts too. But i may be wrong :)
I don't think so, because he was quite relax and didn't put energy in his movement. Martial arts are for defense, so your body have to receive punches with a minimum of power. Otherwise, in a real fight you won't be able to defend yourself. When i train with my master, i am often on the ground after receiving his punches. It do harm a little bit, but it never injure my body.
@thedjaney2 duh. the purpose of this video is to show how to perform the damn thing not to destroy his sparing partner.

I don't think sifu's actions is as brutal as it looks.. the elbow hit the guy with a large area to disperse the energy.
