how, by coming out of retirement? i want you to reply to all the other packer legends who came out of retirement too then. both sides did bad in this issue, but it is over. what we as fans should do now is wait for favre to finally call it quits, invite him back, build him a statue, retire his number, and reminize about having the best winning percentage in the league from 92-08. like i said before, i love aaron, but i don't hate favre because of this issue, and neither should grateful fans
i have moved on from the favre thing. i havn't mentioned any problems with mm or tt about it. I don't know where you're getting that from. i have stated that all along. i am optimistic for next year, i always will be, regardless of the past season. you yourself made the point for me. this was pretty much the same team that had a good year. we just made tons of mistakes and lacked the intensity you need to win. that is coaching, and holding coaches accountable is what makes them change.
As bad as you want to make out last year, just remember outside of QB this is the same team that won 14 games the year before. If you want to be pessimistic do so, it just gets annoying. By the way I already said I respected Favre for the player he was all those years and will never forget that ever, but trying to blame the organization for not wanting him back in 09 is stupid. They moved on, so should you. Trying to pick up pieces after a legend leaves is hard enough with fans bashing them.
the problem is most fans are so polarized that they can't like favre and like rodgers at the same time, and that is sad. it is evident in you assuming that i hated mm and tt because of favre. i didn't like how they contributed to a horrible season like we just had. rodgers wasn't the problem, but tt and mm were. i like the new d coaches and hopefully they can instill that fire and drive that mm couldnt. I don't always look for the small good things when there were many more bad last year.
i suggest you look at packer history. almost every legend in packer history decided to come out of retirement. don hutson retired and unretired 7 times. reggie white unretired twice. vince lombardi even came out of retirement. I don't care that the packers chose aaron as their qb, i'm fine with that, and i like aaron. however, people who all of a sudden hate favre for coming out of retirement make me sick and shows that they have no clue what he meant to this franchise. cont....
I'm not happy we went 6-10 but like the other guy said we were probably the best/most talented 6-10 team ever. So you're mad at fans that hate what Favre did to the Packers last year? OK. Hell, I used to love him, but he Punk'd the Packers, and that's not cool.
man # 85 WR for tha packers isnt a joke, he can make sum catches.....
