@therealindiangeek Yes the promise of gingerbread on this phone really makes it a good investment.... If u could just tell me how the games run (like raging thunder 2), and whats the music quality like... that would really help me out...
Thanks again!!

@suryakumars Hey, even the older generation can rock the touchscreen if they're open to it. Whoever it is, I suggest that you definitely get them some hands-on time with the phone, so that they can get a feel of the phone, and see if they can really like using it
@therealindiangeek good to see the game running so smoothly on the MI 300. I had pretty much set my mind on this phone till I saw the LG Optimus one P500.... So I'm back to square one again!
Have u used the LG Optimus one yet?? I do not mind forking out the extra 2k or so if Im gettin a much better phone. What do u reckon??

@Thomasnigga We've had little hands-on time with the LG Optimus P500 and so can't really comment much on it. But the fact that it has 512 MB RAM (something that only high-end Android phones such as the Samsung Galaxy S, the Google Nexus S, Google Nexus One have) is a HUGE bargain for us. We still can't wrap our heads around the fact that this budget 12k phone has that much RAM. And the fact that it is preloaded with Android 2.2 (Froyo) and would be upgraded to Android 2.3 makes the deal sweeter

@abksharma If you're still not convinced about Spice's hardware quality (it still is very good value for money at Rs. 9990/-) and since your budget is slightly higher, we would encourage you to look at either the LG Optimus One P500 (Android 2.2, upgradeable to 2.3; 512 MB of RAM) or the Motorola Zeppelin Lite XT5 (5 MP camera) which may be better, with similar features. The Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 is a VERY good buy, but it's 3" screen maybe too small for an older person.
