Yeah "minimum rider effort" yeah that's this sled thing through and through. I'm not saying there not fast cuz they are but it's fast the easy way, with SL and longboarding when ur at fast speeds it's the skill of the rider keeping him from binning it not the board or luge.
@shoegooguru I have one of these and will race you any place, any time. I've never had a street luger come close to beating me so I'd love to see what makes your luge board so special...and then your face at the finish line when I leave you in my dust.
The Brushfire Xled combines speed, stability and steering into the vehicle itself with minimal rider effort needed to control the Xled. It does work and you should check facts before you start hating so much. Besides what did it ever do to you?
@actionwerks why would we be offended by those who are slower than we are? Why would we be offended that you know little about practical application of physics or even human body mechanics? Or how best the two can work together for speed maneuvrerability and yes...safety. Pioneers? I DH skate also and the fact is that street luge OWNS as far as downhill speed goes. You have one thing going and that is novelty...but who cares...we know what the bottm line is and this thing fails.
@actionwerks Your are right..'I'm stupid'...so I guess skydivers will start attaching their parachutes to their feet so they come in head first. This is not a step forward from street luge...it is a step backwards. it fits that anybody stupid enough to buy6 one of these would also be stupid enough to put their head(notice I did not say brains) out front. Be my guest. My homebuilt street luge(which is not a 'toothpick")kicks ass on this dumb idea.
it is a good thing for you head firsters that no real street lugers were on the scene.(As slower traffic, please keep to the right!) This is silly/ comparitively slow and (head first)dumb. I like to go fast and I still like my head. You did not 'up' or 'add to' what street lugers have done. We were going faster than this years ago. I go faster than this on a slow day...on my homebuilt street luge. I cannot believe anybody would buy this outside of ignorance.
oops i forgot the "K". you get the message. i got my sled two months ago and it is gnarly with awsome control, anybody for demo runs can contact me at actionwerks on youtube. im in southern california. this is a real addiction and speeds are totally controlable
no offense to street luge riders after all it is acool ballzy sport and you guys started the need for speed without walls. my hats off to you pioneers
are you for real idiot? what do you have to say about extreme skateboard big air...dangerous too aint it? you are just a freak that is scared to go to the next level like skiers shuned snowboarders in the begining...why ? because they NEW the next level was here, skiers have adopted some of the board techniques for one reason..more fun.did you know that the olympic comittee has already seen demos and is interested idiot.go back in your cave and sit on your toothpick as i fly past you on my sled.
