I think the way he said could have been said better, however, you wouldn't call a white woman who is attracted to black men, self hating. Personally I love a dark skin woman. We all have our preferences and we all have a type. A man who loves a dark skinned woman is considered rooted and praised. But a man who appreciates lighter skin is considered self-hating because people ASSUME he is a victim of a social stigma. He doesn't have to be attracted to black women period.
