Border Patrol Chases Van Full Of Illegals That Ended In National City 073009

Details are few but here's what I know. At about 0030 hrs The U.S.Border Patrol was in pursuit of a van with about 25 plus people inside. The van failed to make a turn at E.7th and E Ave In National City California. Before the van came to a complete stop the doors flew open and occupants ran in 25 different directions. Border Patrol Air Support was called in but only a few illegals were captured. When I arrived the engine in the van was still running. The front line federal agents are not allowed to speak to the media so that's why details are few.

Just to clarify your posted info... over 30 illegal aliens were caught when this operation was complete. So your statement of only "a few illegals were captured" is incorrect.
