Very nice stand....would love to have the plans for this base, as my anvil is approx. the same size.

@Homesteadforge I don't have any plans drawn up but I can put together a video that has more specific measurements & things to consider when designing you own anvil base.

I really like the design, as I stated earlier, But My main question is, how bad does that thing jump when you use it? I would thing it's heavy and sturdy but, I can see it jumping around a bit. Either way. I am gonna build one soon!

I haven't had any problems with it jumping around or moving. I'm working on a crushed gravel floor so the base plate is locked in pretty good and the gravel will conform to the shape of the plate. If you have a cement floor you might need to mount this whole thing on wooden runners to give it a stable footing so it doesn't rock or pivot.

Also the clips that hold the anvil really lock it down so the the whole thing acts as a unit so it would take a pretty heavy hammer to get all that jumping around. The only complaint I have so far is that it does hum a little when I'm using a heavy hammer. It's not loud but you can hear it in the videos
