Kevin schwantz is the best rider ever, his riding is out of this world. Rossi has been the most successful but this guy was the best rider ever.

If Stoner rode a 500cc 2 stroke gp bike from this era he would launch himself into the nearest accident & emergency unit (from a great height). The guys who have won on 500's are gods. Stoner doesnt come close to any of them for natural skill. Remove all the electronic rider aids from the motogp bikes of today and the race winners would be the guys who could ride a 500 v4 stroker. Stoner and most of the current riders would struggle to qualify in the top 10.

@juandi2570 ha ha Rossi had a great machine. Many would have owned the track on his bike. Schwantz was simply 1 lucky m/f. Huge respect though.

Huge respect for anyone at this level on a 500.

When thinking about titles, Kevin Schwantz has only 1, his nickname became the "eternal second". But please, we should not compare MEN. TO understand Schwantz character, we would first feel the emotion to play at the final Champions League facing Messi and Ronaldo, or challenge Evander Hollyfield in the square, and then, we may understand why the number 34 is the only one out of the races (FIM decison). Love to all the bikers and motogp enthusiasts. I hope "Il doctori" come back2action soon.
