How can you set this up in an old non-computerized car? Is there anything you can add? At least to monitor the MPG value.

Nice job! I'm going to buy one of these for my car and when I first saw it I was wondering if an ethernet cable would work so I could run that through my dashboard and be able to easily remove the scangauge and the included cable.
In your unpacking video, I noticed that there is a 2nd RJ-45 port(On the side). Do you know what that's for?

The two ports have the same function as far as I can tell, so I think they are for improved usability.

I cut into the sheath expecting orange, green,blue and brown only to find a pile of no colors. The one color I could readily identify was orange. The others were so close together in hue I almost gave up. After looking and looking I finally figured out the "white" colors had color dots the size of a period instead of a band of color about an 1/8th of an inch wide. After that I was able to differentiate the colors.
Friggin' cable company was just trying to be cheap!
