My absolute favorite TV Western series of the 1950's. An anthology of the Old West's greatest outlaws.

  • NO BETTER BAD GUY,THAN LEO GORDON

  • I agree - except for perhaps Lee Van Cleef

  • Why didn't Lucas McCain, Matt Dillon and Cheyenne Brodie just get together and clean up the Old West once and for all?

  • If they did, they wouldn't have needed Matt Clark and Frankie Adams. BTW, it's Cheyenne Bodie, not Brodie.

  • This was the first TV series from the most prolific studio that ever produced theatrical Western features and serials- Republic Pictures [under their "Studio City" banner]. 39 episodes were originally syndicated in the 1954-'55 season; this one featuring Jim Davis in the recurring role of "Matt Clark, Railroad Detective"...

  • She did not look like a grieving widow. The outlaw was easily fooled. Give me a break!!!
