  • That is nice size for the area. 15 inches was the biggest I ever caught. That was on the MA/NH border.

  • we have a different strain of brook trout that dosent get as big. so here that is a prized fish

  • I have always enjoyed catching native brookies in the Virginia and NC highlands. They are big in Maine though - up on the Madawaska in Northern
