Shame to lose the valentas but better HST with MTU than no HST replaced by some modern plastic crap. Hopefully the new engines will clag a bit when broken in.

upsetting to say the least, i filmed 43123 in HD and 43084 on my phone but i will miss them :(,all we have now is the ]vp185s and mtus biut the vps are already starting to take after their older brothers :)

R.I.P Paxman Valenta (1976-2010) - The legendary scream may be gone, but it almost certainly never will be forgotten. But alas, it is time to move on...
They should have sneakily started up the GC Powercars, so that Crewe could echo to the sound of Valentas one last time! LOL

Well that as they say is that no more scream and thick grey clag from HST PC's anymore............ Yet let the MTUs wear in a little and in 10 years time we could be having the Valentas second age lets wait and see brilliant vid John 87006.
