  • This is long over due - it's hard to believe that in our Nation we even have to protect our "parental right to raise our children" - but we do - this admendment is desparately needed thank you Sir - I pray this will go through! - Those who argue "it's the right of the child to freedom of thought, conscious and religion" want to usurp the parents rights to protect and raise their children - simply so they can influence them to believe, behave and think like they do - and thats immoral!

  • Parental RIGHTS, and NOT parental notification. How arrogant this current Congress is! Three cheers for Rep. Hoekstra! This is what a rep SHOULD be doing, the wishes and concerns of the People.

  • Hoekstra a RACIST! Is this what Michigan wants to represent the great state?

  • The constitutions of most of our states(&of the us) assert that all power is inherent in the people;that they may exercise it by themselves;that it is their right and duty to be at all times armed; that they are entitled to freedom of person, freedom of religion, freedom of property & freedom of the press. It is not only vain, but wicked,n a legislature to frame laws n opposition to the laws of nature,&to arm them with the terrors of death. This is truly creating crimes norder to punish them-TJ.

  • or to prevent the people from petitioning, in a peaceable and orderly manner, the federal legislature, for a redress of grievances; or to subject the people to unreasonable searches and seizures of their persons, papers or possessions.

    — Samuel Adams, Debates of the Massachusetts Convention of 1788

  • And that the said Constitution be never construed to authorize Congress to infringe the just liberty of the press, or the rights of conscience; or to prevent the people of the United States, who are peaceable citizens, from keeping their own arms; or to raise standing armies, unless necessary for the defense of the United States, or of some one ... • It's wonderful to hear some sense at long last.

No child should be forced drugs against their and their parents rights.

  • This is an absolutely critical issue. But we also need to examine Child Protective Services and how they routinely violate the highest law of the land.
