LeSands - Easy To Please

Hailing from the perpetual summer on steroids of San Diego, 80's synth pop band LESANDS connotates a dreamy summer haze with their warm and darling EP "Sweet Skin". Together since March 2010, the trio of Austin Taylor Tirado, Joel Plotnik and Nik Ewing, all California natives draw influence from an eclectic assortment of post punk and late 50s early 60s pop girl groups such as The Ronettes and The Crystals. While their influences may be diverse, the sounds of LESANDS fuse wonderfully together for an infectious and dreamy dance gems to be replayed again and again. Though relatively new to the scene, 2011 promises to bring big things as the group heads to SXSW later in March beginning a national tour.
