A few words about an influential and inspirational man, who will be sadly missed, followed by the first video I ever saw of the one and only Hitch.

  • Cheers to you Hitch. Thanks for your courageous example of intellectual rigor and honesty.

To whoever bleeped the video for profanity: it's time to grow up.

  • @xxdiogenescynicxx Did you mean 'good riddance'?

How has Hitchens done more harm to the atheist movement than good? Perhaps you could clarify your assertion. I think you'll find that most atheists would whole-heartedly supporte Christopher Hitchen's position on atheism, but not necessarily his political views.

  • I love when and HOW he says, "human solidarity". Powerful and moving!

  • He was the absolute, best. RIP

  • I also learnt many words form Hitch.

  • Nice video. At least we lived in his time.

  • @alin1975 agreed that at death none of our actions will matter to us

but each action we take has potentially good or bad outcomes on others. infliction of unnecessary pain or hardship on another is the essence of immorality, we can be vacant of empathy either due to genetics, accident or lack of advantage, but our actions have a meaning that have probability of rippling out if we have even slight social activity.

one may disembark from that responsibility, but i'd say it's unhealthy.

  • Christopher Hitchens dies and stands before God.

    "Prepare to be judged!"

    says Christopher Hitchens.

  • @xxdiogenescynicxx You don't understand Christopher Hitchens at all.
