Hey man, it looks like the problem of the disappearing icons and toolbars in Windows 7 has been resolved. Since the last few Windows 7 updates, none of my icons have changed, and none of my toolbars have disappeared after reboot. Looks like Microsoft fixed these problems without ceremony.

This worked to fix the problem I was having. Any Idea why the Cache gets messed up or if it will continue to happen in the future once I've fixed it? Anyways thanks for the video, its the only one on Youtube to fix this problem! Good job.

After I killed explorer.exe I couldn't use the Magnifier anymore. Next time I'll type it into Notepad in a big font. Oh well live and learn. It's a miracle that Fraps kept working great even after I killed Explorer.

The hard-to-read lines (even in 1080p):
cd /d %userprofile%\AppData\Local
del Iconcache.db /a
