Silent Hill 3 HARD-mode run with a few added constraints (by AKheon). Part 1, from beginning to getting first key.
Basically Heather is not allowed to maim or kill any enemy who isnt mandatory to defeat during the game (e.g. anyone except the bosses). Quite the opposite, since she will periodically stop to feed the monsters with her hard-earned beef jerky.
Another thing is that she cant run in rooms where there are monsters. If she did that, it would hurt the monsters self-esteem a bit, wouldnt it? Would give the impression that she doesnt *want* to hang out with them. So, for all the involved parties to feel good at the end of the day, these necessary repercussions have been made. Besides, being a saint kicks ass!
To avoid redundancy, the 'no running'-rule only applies to rooms with enemies in them. Also, it's a completely new game we start to avoid any complications from superfluous icky wall manifestations and such.
-----
First, drastic measures are taken to drop out of the nightmare sequence. The beginning of the run as a whole goes as you expect it to. Nothing special happens until you reach the monsters, and even then it's kinda slow, you know, this being the level 1 and all. At least I do a pretty exciting evasive maneuver at the first Numb Body.
Yeah... I use bullet adjust. Just to make sure I'll get enough for the bosses.
NOTE: I've added notations.
:P Sucky thing is, you can't get the quick way out of the nightmare tell you've beaten the game atleast once. :[ I hate that level, and I had to do it since I lost my save files. Can't wait to watch all this though, seems interesting, thought you're running in the first episode and a few others maybe.

I run in rooms where there are no monsters.

The creators of this game were originally going to call Heather, "Helen". They thought that "Helen" was too old-fashioned so they made it more common.
I thought it was interesting that they put the name in the game at 3:16

That's right, "Helen" could be a bit out of sync with her spunky character.

In this segment Heather doesn't have radio yet. She gets in before nightmare Mall.
However, I do recall keeping the radio on through the run.
