@SSgtParmer Sorry but I am an agnostic who leans towards Atheism. That said even if god exists, what you are saying is that we should just go on as is and God will fix it. Dont you think that peak oil is the end result of our greed for fossil fuels. Maybe if more people rode bicycles and less people drove SUV's this problem would not occur as quickly. When will we take responsibility for our actions?

@SSgtParmer New technology relies on oil to get there. Technology uses energy. Jesus had an unpopular message in his time. Heinberg has an unpopular message for our time. Seems what needs to said can always be written off with faith. Faith doesn't always have to be blind. No need to ignore common sense.
