  • I figured out what it's missing! This was pretty dang good for someone on their own, but Americans as a whole open their mouths horizontally more than they do vertically, which is the predominant way of the world. It shows in words like "here" and "eggs". Try, when you go for those words, to open your mouth horizontally when being louder rather than vertically (this is why alot of american singers suck)

  • @paulcglaze thanks for all your feedback I love getting pointers. I should say that I am American and though have spent most of my life in Australia I have lived in the states...predominately California and Texas...and all my family is from the US. But in saying that I do hear what your saying. thanks heaps

  • Not bad for an Aussie, but I still think I heard a faint "nar" instead of "no" in there. Otherwise, perfect!

  • I don't think her Brazilian accent was bad. The thing that gave her way was trying to use words in Portuguese, like cachaca.

  • To be honest, your Brazilian accent sounded much like an English speaker trying to speak Portuguese (which I think you guys will never get it, hehe!)

As I also think we will NEVER be able to get rid of our accents,

but nice work, you caught some of our language vices pretty wel..l

  • good job!

  • It sounds spot on to me as an American from Las Vegas.

  • wow.. as a southern american who is not trained in anything voice related, i cant tell if you you are an american or not.

  • almost perfect! only thing you slipped up on that I heard was "no" a couple of times

  • That was great! The only slip was when you said egg, but it's not really noticeable.

  • It's always Martha on the phone calling people.
