the knowledgeable person said, look at the past year or two, whenever the country and this dude's people have gained a good reputation, a group, fed and supported by god know who have appeared in the streets and done stuff like this fining and mistreating people to try and balance down his achievement!!
I'm no big fan of the guy, but good point actually!! don't you think??

now my point of view: politically, the guy seems to have gained some positive reputation. when I discussed the fining issue with a knowledgeable person, and asking why is he causing chaos in the society while what really matters at this point is to try and keep the reputation he has built internationally?

this is about this dude's interview before he was elected. he is saying about the unimportance of the hair style of youngsters in Iran, and the way they dress, which is not totally approved by the government as they say. and now, they fine people if they're hair style is weird or if girls' hair shows, and so on! so the point is to show some sort of a conflict before and after the dude's election. this was the translation.
