Former Heritage Foundation senior research fellow John Hulsman talks about the importance of prudence in the conduct of foreign policy.

-----

In their book, "Ethical Realism," Anatol Lieven and John Hulsman deliver a searing indictment of America's present foreign policy and offer a new vision based on prudence and concentration on results rather than intentions.

Anatol Lieven is a senior research fellow at the New America Foundation. He previously covered Central Europe for The Financial Times; Pakistan, Afghanistan, the former Soviet Union and Russia for The Times (London); and India as a freelance journalist. He was also an editor at the International Institute for Strategic studies in London, where he worked for the Eastern Services of the BBC.

John Hulsman is a former senior research fellow at The Heritage Foundation and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, as well as a contributing editor to The National Interest. He advises congressional leaders from both parties on foreign policy issues and makes regular appearances on ABC, CBS, Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, PBS, and the BBC.

  • Oh CFR I see your point; do the crime but make sure you have a good spin. Then critise "so called mistakes" when 9/11 and Irag being divided on sectarian lines, was a CFR plan. I can't wait to see you all go to jail for your crimes.
