Let me start out by stating that I've used a savegame off of Gamefaqs. I didn't make these videos to show off how awesome I am, but merely to showcase the tactics alot of players in the Rockman community have thought up. I did make the video itself, though.

Either way, welcome to the first in hopefully many Netbattling videos I intend on making. I intend to show you some tactics around this game, which will hopefully improve your play or at least have some fun.

The first tactic I'll be featuring is one that's often used in EXE5's Gunslinger folder. (Check out the Renowned Folder FAQ on Gamefaqs.) It's a simple matter of locking your enemy into one row, to eventually gun him down using a Vulcan powered up with an atk+30 chip. The following chips are used:

2x Panlgrab *
1x RockCube *
1x SuprVulc V
1x Atk+30 *

All of this leaves you with an attack that does 40 damage, 12 times, which is a grand total of 480 damage. You can take two turns to perform this attack if you have some more atk+ chips to even improve this, if you're in the right position.

  • Err, wouldn't most enemies just warp back and forth between panels?

  • Yeah, which is why the PanelGrabs and RockCubes are used. That way he's stuck in one horizontal row.

  • you know, i've never been able to think of a situation where panel grab would be better than area grab, but now... i can see... that rock cube is gonna trap the other guy there until he gets his area back, but if you put another rock cube in front of the one already there, he'll be trapped forever, unless he dustmans his way out, or used windracket... nice!

    DoublePoint, AirSpin3, Atk+30, Tornado, Tornado, with FullSync.

    2[(50+60+30)*(4+8+8)] = 5600. MWAHAHA!!!!!!!!!
