V Star 950 Mustang Seat, Candy Red

2009 V Star 950 with the new Mustang Solo Seat and Rear Fender Bib. This is part two of my video's for the bike upgrades. I also installed a chrome belt guard you can see in the video. This seat is 100 times better than stock. I have a Cobra Slashdown and Fi2000 chip on backorder and they should ship within 2 weeks from Cobra. I'll post another video once the exhaust and chip are installed. Any questions, let me know.

You have to really slam the seat down in order to get it locked. It took a while to figure it out. Just use some force and it will lock in. Definitely get the bib too, unless u are going to be taking passengers.

Nice lookin' bike. I just got a V Star 950, and yep...HATE the seat. I think it's really strange that they'd put such a shoddy seat on such a nice bike. What did you pay for the Mustang solo, if you don't mind me asking?

I saw these bikes for sale in jacksonville fl for 4800 dollars for a 2009.It is a shame that they have cut prices so much,I have a 2009 1100 classic that is the same way.

I paid retail a couple of years ago.

the solo seat looks cool but it is difficult to carry anything with you.I know because I have tried .I have a v-star 1100 and I bought the fender rack and bag but it is not big enough to carry stuff for a day trip.Like water,a snack rain gear if you live in the southeast,maps,camera and so on.Saddle bags don't look too cool either.I have the sissy bar and yamaha rack and can I use a round leather bag by carrol leathers.Just a thought for you as I have already been there.Style or function.

Hey Man. I just looked at a V Star 950 today at the dealer. Where do you buy the seat? I like to keep the backseat so my wife can ride with me. Does it come with that combo? Thanks.

I have a new v-star 950 and mustang seats on order. I was wondering if it will come with instructions on how to remove the stock rear jump seat. What was your experience? I am going to put on a mustang solo seat and the matching mustang rear jump seat.
