hi paul, i like both versions, but honestly i prefere the solo acoustic version. maybe i'm not hearing just right, but to my ear your solo version is either in a lower key or your vocal is lower, but i think your voice is warmer and more intimate on the solo version. i also like that the lyric theme goes full circle, first we are focused on your idle thoughts bringing visions of lady friend, but near the end we focus on the question of her own idle thoughts and her "you" experience, chuck
