Showreel for Welsh film, commercial and music video director Alun D Pughe.
Hi! I'm a writer/ director originally from the Twin Peaks like town of Aberystwyth, Wales but am now working pretty much all over the UK. Please find below a rather formal and boring bit about how great I am etc etc and the usual contact link.
Winner of the Swansea Bay Film Festival 2006, Newport International Film Festival 2007 and last year's Best New Film Maker (in a music promo) my left field sensibilities and hunger for storytelling attracted my work to Sir Richard Attenborough's panel of judges in May 2008 where I won Best Short Film (Over 10 mins). I have also experience of working with actors such as Dorian Thomas (Twin Town), amazing crew members and musicians as varied as The StopMotion Men, Tamanda Walker and The Lost Prophets. ). My first feature film THE WHITE ROOM (a science fiction piece) has just been green lit by Masterplan Films and will be released internationally in 2011.
