I saw a video on Zach Even Esh's channel where he went for 50 reps in the deadlift. I thought it was cool, so I gave it a try with my axle. Pretty challenging for my grip - my grip kept cramping up, especially my thumbs, which I have been hitting hard lately.

  • I saw about 10 reps and I had to go ice my back. Wow dude, I don't know how u didnt snap your back. U were just bowing down and up. I barely saw any bend of the knees, which means u didn't drop your ass. Not the right way but if it works for u, good luck!!

  • @6sway I was hinging at the hips which you might not be able to tell from the camera angle, so no, my back wasn't bowing during the lift. In fact, my back never even got fatigued doing this, my hamstrings and hands did.

  • -that looks like a really thick bar-how much does it weigh and what does he have on there?

  • @089hlj It is 225 total.  The bar is an axle and weighs 33-lbs.
