Autumn festivals all held all over Japan during the months of october and november. Shishimai, lion dance, is one of the most common traditional celebrations to bring in good harvest. Young people from Hikawa village keep celebrating this Autumn festival to keep it alive and avoid it from disappearing. Tengu is the man with the red long nose mask, representing a supernatural creature in Japanese folklore. This is one of the most best know monster-spirits (Yokai). Tengu makes the lions move around trying to bite the leaves.
