The Comedy Club Asia presents the Kings & Queen of Comedy Asia II -- Asia's biggest stand-up comedy spectacular featuring the world's best Asian comics.
Showcasing five top-line Asian funnymen (and woman?), this comedic extravaganza brings together sidesplitting entertainment from India, USA/Japan, Malaysia, Australia and Singapore.
Last year's inaugural KQCA garnered rave reviews playing sold out shows in Singapore and KL.
FEATURING:
Kumar (SIN) -- A monarch of mirth who requires no introduction, Kumar is the reigning Queen of Lion City comedy. She is a virtual icon known throughout the region, and will have you bursting your bra with laughter. Confirmed. And the women will love it too.
Harith Iskander (MAL) -- The undisputed King of stand-up comedy in Malaysia, Harith is a phenomenal performer who has received standing ovations in comedy clubs worldwide. Well known to Singapore audiences for his role in 'Phua Chu Kang', he is also an accomplished Director, Writer, and Musician. Talk about multi-talented!
Paul Ogata (JAPAN/USA) -- Winner of the prestigious San Francisco International Comedy Competition, Paul has been winning hearts around the world with his high energy brand of standup. This diminutive Japanese American delivers huge laughs with a wit sharper than a sushi chef's knife.
Papa CJ (INDIA) - Papa CJ burst onto the world comedy scene as a finalist on Last Comic Standing (NBC) in 2008. Armed only with an MBA from Harvard and a unique world view, CJ has continued to wow audiences across the sub-continent and around the globe with his sassy style.
Ronnie Chieng (MAL/AUSTRALIA) -- What happens when a good Chinese Malaysian boy is raised in Singapore, studies Law in America and settles in Australia? Well he becomes a standup comedian of course... parents beware!
