@IggyZadr Everyone knows English, some speak with heavy accent but we all understand it. There are many who come here and work and learn Swedish as they work.

I really want to move to Sweden. My main concern would be learning the language. I can speak fluent Russian and I can speak fluent English, but no Swedish, yet.
So how would that affect my life there? Aside from that, is Sweden at all xenophobic as a majority?

@AdmiralPeacock I can say that everyone going to school in Sweden, should know English quite well :) its a class from third or forth grade up till ninth. What did you do in Sweden btw? just curious. Hope you had a great time here. X from Sthlm

How difficult was the process of getting into the country? Did you have to get a work permit? I'm in the US and my bf moved there a month ago. I am working on saving up some money and applying for a residence permit to go live with him. I'm just worried it's going to be hard to move there paperwork-wise.

@VMAM Hi VMAM,
No it is not particularly hard to move to Sweden; just fill out the paperwork (which is reasonable), provide the information they ask for and pay their administration fees (which are also reasonable) and in 6 months you'll in all likelihood be granted a visa.

how are they letting you immigrate without knowing swedish?

Knowing Swedish isn't a requirements... technically all Swedes are supposed to know English (doesn't always work that way though)
