my grandpa recently passed away from cancer and this song was played at his funeral. he loved my grandma so much and left her behind. I cry every time i hear it and i think of him and how much she misses him.

I've been there too,but my grandma went first.just try to be there for her dear,God bless you.

It took guts for a honky tonk singer to go about face and do these types of songs. I have read these were the types of songs Hank liked best, and the ones he would have chosen to focus on as a writer. Trouble is, they did not make much money, but they sure were beautiful.
