Clawhammer Banjo Technique - One Bite At A Time - Video 1 is the first in the series. It is designed to provide simple, one step at a time instruction for the clawhammer technique. Please don't take offense to the "dummy down" statement. It is only meant to describe the obvious intensity difference between bluegrass and clawhammer. Look for the 2nd video to complete the series. Bob,I can't tell you how much I appreciated this video! I am in my sixties and my "mind" is almost as slow as my "fingers"!! LOL! Up until now I was trying to eat that old elephant (at least!) three bites at one time! It was frustrating and driving me to greater and greater distraction! Hi Bob, thanks for the video ! I'm in the same boat- Scruggs player forever, now trying to re-learn. Just bought an old Buckbee & ready to dive in. Love your teaching style / sense of humor ! We ran out of cats a couple years back so I guess I'll have to buy strings :)

THANKS BOB......I recently bought what I believe is a late 19th Century WALDO Open Back Gut String Banjo. I'll be watching your 'Clawhammer' Videos, quite a bit over the next few months, as I try to learn this technique.
