Historian Dan Kun gives a walking tour of the Eccles Rail Center at the Utah State Railroad Museum. He tells the history of Gas Turbine X-26, D&RGW SD40T-2 5371, UP Centennial 6916, and UP FEF-2 833.

  • do the 2 remaining turbines have the jet engines still inside them, or have they been tore out

  • @Barricade360 The 26 was barely saved from the scrap line and exists as "body only" (a prototype dummy engine?) with no traction motors, diesel engine or turbine.
