why the setting at 4.56 is different to 5.10 for looping, i have been trying to loop but it didn't work

The settings are the same at those two points, but that multi-function knob may not be reflecting it. You want to make sure to max out the pre-delay and the time parameters on the Echo setting to get the looping effect.

Hello, I was wondering if you can get this looping effect without an expression pedal? and if I need a pedal could I use one other than source audio dual ep? Like if i get a TRS cable that has a 1/8 out for my vp pedal. could that work? thanks

I have a Markbass Super Synth that did the same thing. Apparently I was using the wrong voltage power supply. Changed it to the correct voltage and voila!
