Someone posted a comment on Antoine's video about how beautiful it sounded to play both videos at the same time, and it was, but the timing was off, so i decided to combine them and fix the timing.
Both versions are amazing in and of themselves. I think the combination sounds just as amazing if not more. Praise to Imogen for amazing song writing and a beautiful voice and praise to Antoine for awesome guitar skills.

@SirMatthiasXC That's one reason. The other is that Imogen's version is built on radically distorting her beautiful voice to create a full track. And that's fascinating. Antoine's approach is based on the purity of guitar sounds. So, in a sense, they are the exact opposite of each other. It's like you mix black and white, and the result is dull gray. imho.

it's probably because her voice is kind of haunting, and that fading out/delay of her voice isn't heard because of the guitar.
just my thoughts.

Well, this mix takes out that special thing that gives me the goosebumps. They cancel out each other's spirit. Strange, i thought it would be good.

@TheGuitaristCC The guitar is perfect. The fact that antoine has the mind to translate these "machined" vocals to a guitar is.... well... just let it sink in. I'd figure with a name like "TheGuitarist" you'd understand.

I usually just play one version on youtube, and one on Itunes and match up the audio, but this makes it much easier. haha
