  • how did you managed to correct caster issues ? did you make custom radius arms ?

    thanks

  • not quite it was a custom made axle so i allowed for caster correction when welding the radius arm mounts on. The landcruiser i built i used caster correction bushes i git from Ausralia

  • Maybe i know are you still using the stock engine or you change it to a 1.6Vitara ???

  • stock engine / gearbox and transfere only axles changed

  • stock engine gearbox and transfer but changed diffs to 4.22 vitara ones then you can run 33's and it will drive the same as stock gearing. 90 MPH all day

  • cost me about £3500 including buying an accident damaged Jimney and a couple of hundred hours work

  • holy shit these jimnys are tough!!

  • i just bought a jimny, and it's gonna be delivered on tuesday. i bought because it could snake its way in and around congested traffic, plus it's not much of a gas guzzler, but i had no idea that it could do that kind of shit.

  • @ravenousrhino 90mph in a jimny with 33's with a 1.3 ? Surely not?

  • Eyyy..Whats been done to this engine ?? cus... mines wicked quiet.. and being a new driver.. i wanna be able to hear the engine.

What have you done to give it so much beef ??

    Thanks

  • I take it you change ur tires for on road use otherwise you'd have to extend you wheel arches right?

  • A "little" devil! :)

or an angel?Hmmm...it was a gentle and effective view for my eyes...spiritual upgrades.

  • Hi! The stock front CV joints and halfshafts are strong enough to be used with 33" tires?

  • hands down to your jimny man

  • thanks for the reply! :-)
