Sen. Gillibrand, Rep. Ackerman, Supervisor Kaiman Fighting for Local Jobs

Senator Kirsten Gillibrand. Congressman Gary Ackerman and Supervisor Jon Kaiman joined along with other town, village and district officials to call for federal dollars to be directed at infrastructure projects in the Town of North Hempstead. A top priority would be the new environmentally friendly sewage treatment plant being proposed in Great Neck that would replace two aging plants located on Manhasset Bay. The new plant will create hundreds of jobs and, once completed, lead to cleaner water in Manhasset Bay and the Long Island Sound.
