  • but not over 9000 :P

  • I don't get it. The IBM-PC is 1 depressed-looking blue elephant, and the C64 is 4 depressed-looking blue elephants?

  • Think of the C64 games we got that ran in that 64K - how many would never have seen the light of day if the C64 had had 16K like other computers of the day? It would have been easy for Jack Tamriel to leave out the extra memory and make a bit more profit, but he didn't, and because of it we got titles like Alter Ego, Little Computer People, Sentinel, Portal, Gunship and Ultima 1!!!

  • @computerfreaq17 If we take 4 gigabytes to be the 'standard' for today it's 268,435,456 elephants. :D

  • I didn't know you could get a PC with 16k of ram, unless they weren't talking about the 5150 (the original pc) and just some other IBM computer.

  • @linuxlove4004 Over 9000 Bytes!

  • For under 600... Elephants?

  • @computerfreaq17 Uh 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000!

  • How many elephants by today?

  • It probably had like a whole megabyte. XD

  • @Billbill80s 16K for each elephant.
