That's a slower boot than my Patriot 60GB Inferno SSD.

@solarfox2010 Probably not. The first 16 seconds is POST, unaffected by SSD and CPU

do you have any idea WHY it takes so long to get POST screen? my P55 is taking about the same, and i wanna know if it is the mobo or the VGA taking too long to POST. hmm

It's probably the GPU. With any 5 series ATi card, it took ages for people with Asus motherboards to get into boot. Loads of people had the problem. I'd love an instant POST.
