Did you use a motorised pan and tilt head for this? If so which one?

@lucasfunkt I shoot my time-lapse footage with a 21mpx still camera at full res (approx 5500pix horiz), and then use final cut to pan/zoom the lower res HD frame (1900pix horiz) within it. Much easier, cheaper and flexible than using hardware.

Final Cut though, not sure if it is much cheaper, just looked and Final Cut Pro X is selling for £199.99 ($300). Is there a cheaper way?

@lucasfunkt I use final cut express ($199 list). This i still cheaper and easier than any hardware solution.
