Remembering the Golan, Now and Then

Three friends, all parachutists and residents of the Golan Heights, recall the Six Day War battles they fought in the area they later made their home. At the time forty years ago, everyone was euphoric and hoped that the outcome would lead to Arab recognition of Israel.

With reports that the Syrian army is preparing for war, the three go about their daily business, and hope that one day there will be peace.06/06/07
