*with Joseph and Brooke, Joe's POV*

I was rolling on the floor, yes in the elevator, laughing. Brooke was doing the same. We had been trapped for seventeen minutes now, and had spent most of it laughing. I told corny jokes, and she had a surprising sense of sarcasm. She definitely made it easier to be trapped in an elevator.. I almost didn't want it to start again.. *knock on wood*
"So, you actually poured milk on her head?" I asked again.
"Well.. yeah.. I mean, she was about to kiss MY boyfriend, right in front of me! And it was lunchtime so.. why not?" The laughing began again. "So what about you? Any interesting girl stories?" She asked.
"Hmm..." I said, half stalling, but half pretending to think. All of the sudden the elevator jerked to life. "Woah!" we said in unision. "Well.. I guess you'll have to save that question for another time. How about this Friday, at seven?"
"Is Joe Jonas asking me on a date?"
"It's a definite possibility," I answered.
"Well, you can count me in." she said. *inner fist pump!* I was so happy to have someone to help get my mind off Jamie.. and I couldn't wait to tell Nick and Kevin. They'd be happy for me, I hoped. I hope they'll like her as much as I already do.

*back with Nick and Jamie, Jamie's POV*
When we walked away from the little girl and her mother, after them saying thank you about a dozen times, Nick took my hand again. This time I just smiled and kept walking. It had been about fifteen minutes, I guessed, and we were a couple yards away from the elevator when it opened and Joe came out.. with a random girl by his side. They were laughing, and then Joe saw us and pointed and said something to the girl. She looked up, and her eyes met mine.
"JAMIE!!!"
"BROOKIE?!" She ran and engulfed me in a hug. When Joe had finally caught up with us, he looked totally confused. Nick joined him on that.
"Wait, you two know each other?" Joe asked.

so, i feel really productive today. i cleaned my closet (which was a WRECK) annndd made mine and my friends jonas 3-d experience video! yay:) haha. now i'm about to go to churchhh.
