3 Brothers, 3 Friends, 1 Love: Chapter 16 Part 1

Joe's POV

Me and Carson sat there chatting about nothing in particular. Just passing time until we had to leave I suppose. I noticed Kevin and Hayley had wondered off somewhere to 'talk' but about 20 minutes after their supposed 'talking' I saw them walking - or running - around a corner and dissappearing into a closet. Now, I wonder what's going on there? Nick seemed like he was stuck inbetween Miley and Riley. I knew something was going on but I didn't find it my place to step in. The expressions on everybody seemed pained and awkward. Abit like mine and Carson's. My eyes wondered and I began annalysing people in the airport. I saw a blonde woman in her 20's pulling a pink suitcase around while chatting happily into her cell phone. An old man sat near the window watching the planes, checking his watch, then turning around to find a young girl running into his outstretched arms. A young couple, who looked very much in love - maybe honeymooning - walking hand in hand around the airport pointing at shop window displays but never going inside. Then I saw a familiar couple walking towards us. I realised it was Kevin and Hayley and they looked very flushed. Their faces were bright pink and their hair was a mess. Their clothes crumpled and breathing heavy.

"Hi guys!" Kevin said as he sat opposite me on the spare sofa, pulling Hayley down next to him. She gave me a small smile and turned to face Kevin.
"How long do we have left?" she asked him.

Just then a loud crackling was heard throughout the entire airport and a squeaky high-pitched voice echoed the following. "Will all passengers on flight 225 - both coach and first class - please report to gate 4."

"Does that answer your question?"

We all stood to say our goodbye's.

"Well Carson, see you in 2 months." I joked before pulling her into a tight hug. I so badly wanted to kiss her but I knew now wasn't the time. So instead, I kissed her cheek and stuffed my number into her pocket.

Hayley's POV

After hearing the call for Kevin's plane my heart sank. Time had passed too quickly. I stood on my feet taking in this moment. He gave me a weak smile before embracing me into one of his legendary bear hugs.

"I love you Kevin." I stated. This was the first time I'd actually said the L word to him. We both knew how we felt.
"I love you too." he said before kissing my quickly but passionatly. He pulled away and kissed my forehead one last time before walking away with his two brothers - and Miley - and re-joining their family.

Riley's POV

Nick stood on his feet and Miley quickly followed. This was goodbye. I had my chance and I held my tongue.

"Goodbye Nick." I gave him a quick hug before releasing him to travel the country as a rock star.
"Goodbye Riley." He muttered and leaned in to kiss my cheek.

My whole face blushed a bright pink. He kissed me. Infront of Miley. His girlfriend. She looked less than pleased but I couldn't hide my smile. I gave a weak wave as they walked towards his parents together, Miley quickly grabbing his hand.
