Hi Guys, well done on the vid. Nice to see petzl gear used over there (thought petzl wasnt thats popular lol) Forgive me if I pass on some tips. 1 might i suggest keeping scarves etc from around your neck when doing any SRT movement to stop rather nasty entanglements. 2 may use tape esp kevlar on your foot loop (usually best to use one) to help remove surplus stretch and gain much efficiency. Good luck and drop those pots!

Yea, we enjoy our petzl gear. We have changed a lot since this video. We are using sewn webbing foot loops by On-Rope 1. They work really well and have extra stiff webbing layers at your feet to keep the loops shape. We both have also started using their cave specific harnesses which lower your croll attachment point very low so you get a good throw on each pull/step. Thanks for the comment.

@bushy77788 The bounce you see in the video is because even with a really static rope (ex. %1 elongation) you will still have a 1 foot stretch at 100 feet of length (1m stretch with 100m rope) when loaded. This is a 165' (50m) drop so even with a very static rope you still have a lot of stretch in the rope.
