I can't say I'm terribly impressed. I don't see much actual tango OR bellydance here. I see a lot of unsynchronized "vogue" poses with a few hip-bumps and sloppy laybacks. Also, what exactly was the point of the crotch-baring pirouette and the sudden bent-knees pelvic thrusting that came out of nowhere? Besides, does it really make something a "tango" if a man sticks his face in a woman's breasts? This entire performance seemed sloppy, ethnically inaccurate, and ill-advised.

@Wilkinizov keep in mind however that it's a fusion dance and they are students. Everyone is a beginner at one point right? - This was 4 years ago and the Belly Dancers of Florida state have grown and developed so much since then. They now teach intermediate and beginners classes as well as being well-known throughout the community& having a professional performance troupe representing the organization. I encourage you to look at more recent videos of Florida States middle eastern cultural clubs

I'm planning on going to FSU and i was so worried that there wouldn't be a bellydancing or fencing club liek there is at UGA! this made my day!! :P
