I could not resist myself but to do another tribute song to EVER GREEN SUPERSTAR DEV ANAND. He loved Harmonica. He was the one who encouraged young R D Burman to play the harmonica in this film song. All Indian harmonica players love to play this song. I always feel happy when I play this song on Harmonica.

1958: Hai Apna Dil To Aawara
Film: Solva Saal
Starring: Dev Anand & Waheeda Rehman
Music: S D Burman
Singer: Hemant Kumar
Harmonica: Seydel Chromatic Delux

  • Dear sir,

Your performance was truly inspirational. I sometimes try to pick up some of my favourite songs on the harmonica but I surely wouldn't be able to bring such perfection. I would like to know from where you learned to play so well. Did you come to this level by yourself or did u get any training? thank you.

  • @Arjun898 Thanks for your comments. My playing is never perfect. I have not learned music theory and I play by ear. I am selflearner. Pick up a song you like and keep playing regularly. You will surprise yourself and others.

  • Sir....excellent...!!!!

Hats off to ur ability with this beautiful instrument...

I will be glad to know ...which mouthorgan did u prefer ...to play this song...?????

  • @secret1784 Thanks for the encouragement .The harmonica(mouth organ) is "Seydel Chromatic Delux".

  • @Sadashiv45 It is a good Mouth Organ, but a good player can play in any Harmonica. We have a street musician from Chile in Vancouver, Canada and he plays so gooooooooooooooooood in flute(bamboo and plastic water pipe flute just made by him with and pan flute or pan pipe (also known as panflute or panpipes) and he is from Andes and it is popular there.

  • @MohitThe1988 Thanks Mohit.

  • asusual.. superb.. :)

  • @harproli Thank you my dear friend. Greetings from England.
