@6stringdarkness I don't. I thought it was rather excessive. But like I said earlier, he knows an Andy McKee cover better than I know the one I'm learning. And the fact that I'm not playing it with shaped fingernails doesn't help. He's still way ahead of the game in my book.

Depends on how sturdily your guitar is constructed, and to an extent, what you think you can get away with.
Don't do this to a classical guitar, for example. It doesn't have a truss rod and it's a lot easier to damage the instrument doing a bend this way. My guitar has a series of graphite rods running through the neck instead of a truss rod. It's not adjustable, but it's very very sturdy,

Word of advice? Practice this song til you can play it perfectly BEFORE you put it in a video that you post on here. I saw a lot of shakiness in the rhythm at the beginning. You're farther than me with Andy McKee covers. I'm still struggling with For My Father.

The tabs actually came from the internet on this one! They weren't Andy's official tab. I have no idea where it went, or where it came from, but I'll get back to you on that!
