Luke 18:31-32 All Things Fulfilled? Did Jesus mean that "ALL" things would be fulfilled?

  • Did the prophets predict his death, resurrection, and second return? Or just his death and resurrection? Because, to my knowledge, they only predicted his death and resurrection.

    Does this make sense?

I am trying to figure this out. I have never heard of preterism until just now and am looking for answers. Help would be great. Thanks!

  • Thanks for the question. What the prophets predicted was Christ return to judge the Old Covenent system. What he was to end was the end of the age. Joel's prophecy that Peter told everyone about in Acts 2 was "in the last days" the last days was the end of that age of the Law.

  • Your right, the prophets didn't ever predict what todays church calls the second return. What they did predict though was the distruction of the Old Covenant, or the distruction of Jersulam...

  • This entire foundation of belief is riddled with holes and, plainly, is a LIE.

I would love to speak with you over the phone and send you sermons that hold TRUTH. I understand that you feel you are correct, but Jesus has NOT come back yet. Would you be interested in speaking with me? Email me, and I'll send you my phone number.

  • Let's talk about it here DeanSurfsUTube. Let's start with a scripture to prove that there is a gape in Danials 70th week to put it into the future. How about a New Testament scripture to prove that the temple will be rebuilt. It's easy to name call, but let's put the Word of God where your mouth is sir.

  • @DeanSurfsUTube The O.C. predicted 2nd coming also, which includes the resurrection.

"But this I confess to you, that according to the Way which they call a sect, so I worship the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the Law and in the Prophets. I have hope in God, which are written in the Law and in the Prophets. I have hope in God, which they themselves also accept, that there will be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and the unjust. (Acts 24:14-15)

  • Nicely done. Good work . Yet another scripture proving Jesus did what He promised to do when He promised to do it. Thanks for posting this TRUTH.
