  • @lRever 3DS Max is a great software no doubt about that, but blender have all features that you need to make the same models that you can do in 3D Max, if the AAA game companies use 3D Max is only by contractual business, not cause blender is poor in features.

  • Motion Blur should be applied if your running, but not that much blur.

  • I never understood why ppl bother to put in motion blur. Just like in real life, when your looking around, your eyes go from focal point to focal point. You dont pay attention to anything in between because your eyes are moving to fast and your brain is playing catch up. You would be motion sick all the time otherwise. Same as a game, your eyes are already there before you move the screen for a better view. A waste of power is all it is. Just my two cents. Is neat though.

  • @lRever usually people that don't really know anything about the 3d industry would agree with you, people that have googled about some 3d package but haven't rely done anything with it, i bet you can't even make a character , take a look at sintel or big buck bunny they are as good as any other movie you see on tv, and they have been done entirely with blender you can't make an entire MOVIE only by using 3ds max

  • @lupine73 true indeed! xD

  • @vitorbalbio

Indeed. I've had people say to me "Why are you wasting your time with Blender? You should learn a real 3D program like MAX or Maya". I show them some of what has been done with Blender, remind them that it's also a game engine, it's also a non-linear editor and an animation suite... and that it's 100% free.

I see it this way... They're spending 1000s of dollars per seat on a program that is rivaled by an app that's 100% free to use. They're justifying it to themselves, that's all

  • It looks like a dream...beautiful indeed!

  • Good compositing and lense flare, but too much blur

  • @lRever all 3ds max can do is model and animation, but blender is like a all-in-one package. modeling, scripting, rendering, animating, and making a game right in it. In school I used 3DS max, (we had to) but when I showed my teacher blender, we used it from that point on.

  • Looks pretty useful if you're going for a misty dream sort of scene. Nice textures, and the game seems well optimized too

  • hahaha good job man!!!! Fantastic , who know ,know !!! Motion Blur in 2d filter !!!! Good mind guy!!!!

  • that is amazing, but the motion blur is a bit strong, other than though its fantastic
