  • something tells me that would take significantly more time done by hand...that must be why most blacksmiths have over sized arms

    I've done it and it is very labor intensive.

  • @Conan568 im just curious, to make a blade 4 feet long and two and a half inches wide, how large of a steel block would you need?

    I'm not sure, but I'd say around 2" by 2" by 6" to 8" would come close.

  • the word Damascus is ripped off by china copies like the one you probably found this with . you can tell a shit machine when the coil cores are grey metal

    I've heard of problems with Angyang hammers, but not these.

    An 88 lb Striker weighs 600 lbs more than an 88 lb Angyang.

    Maybe that's why, more iron.
