u can't do edges which are uneven,u can rotate since the object's edges remain co-planer,but try to experiment with move and maybe u'll get what u wanted.

Exactually. I thought they maybe meant that, if you tried to select one of the rectangles you had created inside the larger rectangle, it wouln't work poperly....bu it did.
There's no differance as far as I can tell.

i want to create a shape without co-planer edges. How do you do that?

I don't think you can, but you can make many shapes next to each other to make them look like that.

I luv google sketchup, it's a great software. I want to make a 3D game and I I'm using this prgram to make models for my game. it works! ^_^
